The organization managed a large fleet of reusable cylinders moving between filling facilities, warehouses, distributors, customers, and return locations. Traditional registers, spreadsheets, and manual scanning created gaps in visibility. Teams often had to reconcile cylinder movements after the fact, making it difficult to determine where a cylinder was, whether it had been returned, or when it was due for inspection.
Rather than replacing the existing operational workflow, Aeologic introduced RFID-enabled identification and automated movement capture across key tracking points. Each cylinder was associated with a unique RFID identity, while readers captured movement events and pushed the information into a centralized tracking platform.
